Sheffield Tigers speedway match could see the team move up the table

Sheffield Tigers will battle it out with Rye House Rockets tomorrow night in a speedway match, which could potentially see them move to third position in the league table.

The tigers currently sit in sixth position level on points with Plymouth and Newcastle. The tigers finished fifth last season and are hoping to improve on last season’s league position.

If the tigers win, they will lift themselves above Glasgow who are third; which would leave them only three points behind league leaders Somerset.

Josh Bates, who is one of the Tigers’ main riders, was confident on the Sheffield Tigers’ official twitter page.

“We are coming into form as a team now, so hopefully we can all keep that going and get another three points against Rye House. “

The match will begin at 7:30 PM tomorrow, with all of the action happening at the Owlerton Stadium.

Tickets are still available on the Sheffield Tigers’ website or available at the evening of the match at the turnstiles of the ground.
