A Whippet named ‘Frank’ was painted yesterday in Neepsend by Sheffield artist Pete McKee.
The artwork is part of Feature Walls, a large scale festival of murals taking place between October 22 and October 30.
The exhibition curated by Bradbury & Blanchard of B&B Gallery includes work from 16 international and local artists. They said: “Sheffield has a long tradition of spontaneously lending walls to its most creative street artists.”
To celebrate the remarkable art and culture of the city a range of murals are being painted including typographic, abstract and figurative styles.
Mckee, along with some other artists including Kid Acne and Florence Blanchard, have already had their work displayed in the city.
Other notorious work by Mckee includes “The Snog” mural on the side of Fagan’s pub on Broad lane.
