Hallam boss wins Manager of the Month award

Hallam FC manager Ryan Hindley has been voted as the NCEL Division One Manager of Month for October.

In a twitter poll created by The Bootiful Game, a magazine dedicated to the NCEL Premier Division and Division One, Hindley received 43% of 480 votes and triumphed over managers from Grimsby Borough FC, Penistone Church FC and Ollerton Town FC.

This accolade comes after a series of terrific results for Hallam, who haven’t been beaten in their last 10 outings.

A 2-1 victory over Runcorn Town FC in the FA Vase Cup is arguably the most notable of their recent successes.

Adam Warner, who is a member of the Hallam FC supporters club ‘Hallam Ultras’, said: “I think he’s turned the club around. When he arrived about two years ago the club were languishing near the relegation zone, and now they sit in the automatic promotion places.

“A lot of the credit for this has to go to him.”

Hindley is a highly rated and respected manager on the non-league football circuit, and that was made very evident on social media after he won this title.

After receiving the award, Hindley took to Twitter himself, where he congratulated his players and backroom staff for their recent performances.
