Sheffield Wednesday held a meet and greet for fans at their club megastore at Hillsborough today.
Fans had the chance to meet new signings Jordan Rhodes and Morgan Fox, as well as Daniel Pudil.
Hundreds of fans queued for up to two hours at the store, for a chance to meet their heroes, get autographs, and take pictures.
Fans were delighted to get the chance to meet the players and praised the club for organising the event.
A fan at the event said: “Sheffield Wednesday do it (fans being able to meet players) quite well I think, a lot better than other clubs.
I brought my 8 year old daughter down here today. She comes to the matches with me and I think its fantastic that the fans can meet the players face to face.”
Owls striker Jordan Rhodes was pleased to spend time with the fans.
He said: “I think it’s important that players give a bit back to the community.
We’ve seen the crowds today and people have queued for an hour or so to come and see us, the least we can do is put on a smile.”
Wednesday are currently sixth in the Championship, level on points with Yorkshire rivals Leeds, who they face at Elland Road on Saturday.
