Breakdown: The 24 hour crime wave in South East Sheffield

A series of serious crimes in the South Eastern part of Sheffield have occurred over the last 24 hours; ShefNews has the breakdown of all the latest incidents.

Monday morning, at 9.25am, a robber punched a delivery driver in the chest and stole his van, during a brutal daylight robbery.

The man was attacked on Arbourthorne Road, Sheffield while walking back to his Ford Transit van.

Thieves stole a Honda motorbike from East Bank Road, Arbourthorne, at 11.10am.

Golfing equipment and other items were stolen from a vehicle on Moorthopre Dell, Owlthorpe, between 12.30am and 7.10am.

At 5pm, an armed thief threatened a victim with a knife, and demanded  their bag on Wragg Road, Wybourn.

Between 8.30pm and 9pm, electrical items were taken from a  property on Payler Close, Manor.

Burglars stole a purse from a home in Smelterwood Crescent, Stradbroke, at 2.20am on Sunday.

Arbourthorne has the 18th highest crime rates in Sheffield, with 135 burglaries, 504 violent crimes and 180 ‘other’ thefts in the last year.
