Broomhill pub organises six course charity feast

The York Pub on Fulwood Road has teamed up with Sheffield Charity SAGE Greenfingers, to produce a banquet made entirely from allotment grown goods.

Being located on the main street in Broomhill,  this event is a great opportunity for students to get involved with the charity.

The menu has been created by the pub’s head chef Mike Bevan with an emphasis on fresh and in season produce.

Courses include sweetcorn fritters with chilli jam, pumpkin and coconut curried wellington with vegan sour cream, and white chocolate and celeriac iced parfait.

SAGE provides mental and physical support to adult’s experiences mental health problems.

The event will be taking place this Thursday the 19th October and tickets are around £25 per person with £5 of the price will go towards the charity itself.To buy a ticket visit or ring 01142664624.
