After being shortlisted for the “Ugliest Building in the UK” by the Carbuncle Cup in 2016, The Diamond building in Sheffield has bounced back to win the “Large Structure Award” by the prestigious Yorkshire Structural Awards this year.
The aesthetics of this controversial £81 million landmark have been the cause of much debate ever since its opening in September 2015.
