Halloween: Sheffield’s biggest club nights

Sheffield’s huge array of clubs never disappoint when it comes to Halloween, and this year is no exception.

Here’s ShefNews’ round-up of the Steel City’s biggest events for a spooktacular night:

Applebum Halloween Hip Hop Horror Show – The Harley

Applebum returns to The Harley for a spooky night of Hip Hop and R&B. Whilst there are other events with bigger Halloween themes, this is an excuse for another Applebum, so at the end of the day, everyone is still a winner.

Halloween Fancy Dress Takeover – Corporation

Sheffield’s infamously dirty club hosts its own freak-fest and they’ve gone all out. Expect free giveaways, UV cannons, spooky visuals, sweats, treats, sumo suits, pumpkins and of course, fancy dress. If that isn’t enough, the best costume on the night wins £50.

The Halloween Freaks Festival 2017 – Sheffield Students’ Union

Every club claims to have the ‘biggest club night’, but this one really is the one of the biggest – it has six rooms! There will be cannons, candy floss and popcorn, which doesn’t sound particularly scary, but when you’re a student who’s to complain about free food? What’s more, there’ll be music for just about everyone.

Chaos Halloween Freakshow – Code

Code will be transformed into a haunted hospital, with Hip Hop, R&B, Grime and Bass. With Co2 cannons and angle grinders, it is safe to say this is no ordinary Halloween club night.

Halloween Bar Crawl: The Living Dead Sheffield

From six rooms to six bars (and two clubs), Organised Chaos are hosting a huge bar crawl that will drag you through the streets of Sheffield, from The Cavendish to Viper Rooms. If you can last all 5 hours, it promises to be a bar crawl to remember.

Halloween Silent Disco Down the Rabbit Hole Halloween Silent Disco Down the Rabbit Hole! Halloween Silent Disco Down the Rabbit Hole!– The Leadmill

The Leadmill rounds off its Halloween weekender with a classic Tuesday silent disco. There will be 3 channels of music including indie, chart and rock anthems, as well as the secret rabbit hole room playing the best of the underground scene.

So if we’ve persuaded you to get out this Halloween and throw on a spooky costume, you’ll know where to head.

You know what they say, if you’ve got it, haunt it.
