Sheffield United: Carter-Vickers called up to USA squad
Sheffield United defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has become the latest player to be called up for international duty by the USA.
The 19-year-old arrived at Bramall Lane in the summer on loan from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and has put in a number of impressive performances so far to help the Blades make a stunning start to the campaign.
Carter-Vickers has previously represented USA at Under-18, Under-20 and Under-23 level.
The defender will now be hoping that interim manager Dave Sarachan selects him in the starting line-up for the upcoming friendly against Portugal next week.
Carter-Vickers joins the likes of David Brooks and Daniel Lafferty who have also been called up for international duty for Wales and Northern Ireland respectively.
