The annual Christmas Live event at Meadowhall ,which took place on Wednesday, has become increasingly popular.
This year, tickets sold out within days.
For the first time ever, the entire concert was streamed live on social media.
This allowed people that missed out on tickets to get involved.
The two charities that the event supported were: Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Capital’s charity, Global’s Make Some Noise.
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice opened in 2008 and helps young people and their families manage life with degenerative conditions.
Currently, they support 250 families, both at home and at their hospice facility in North Anston, Sheffield.
Their motto is ‘living with love and laughter.’
Capital’s charity, Global’s Make Some Noise supports small projects across the UK.
It helps youngsters and their families living with illness, disability, or limited opportunities.
This year they have raised £3,534,628 so far.
