Sheffield United vs Burton Albion postponed
Sheffield United’s match against Burton Albion on Saturday has been postponed due to safety concerns.
The Blades issued a warning that the game may not go ahead due to snow on Bramall Lane’s surrounding roads.
The weather conditions meant that Bramall Lane offices were forced to close today.

The Club have said issues included the safety of roads and pavements in and around Bramall Lane, the conditions of the stands, more snow forecast and issues with staff getting to the stadium.
The decision to call off the match was made by Sheffield United, Safety Advisory Group, South Yorkshire Police and the English Football League.
A re-arranged date and kick-off time will be announced in due course, and tickets already purchased for the fixture will be valid for the re-arranged date.
