CCTV image released in connection with Rotherham armed jewellery store robbery

A jewellery heist has led to two men being arrested but police are now hunting a third.

Two men have been charged in connection with the armed robbery at Diamonds Classic Gold Jewellers but police have now released a CCTV image of a man they believe could assist with enquiries.

On 30 April the three men entered the shop in the town centre and threatened the staff with a knife.

They stole a large amount of jewellery before reportedly fleeing in a stolen black Honda Civic.

Shakil Hussain, 26, of Bridge Close, Airmyn and Lyle Copley, 22, of Cecil Avenue, Doncaster have been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article in relation to the investigation.

Copley has also been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and driving offences in connection with the incident.

Anyone who recognises this man or who has any information regarding the incident is encouraged to call the police using 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 413 of 30 April.
