Sheffield NHS workers are taking part in a nationwide scheme to promote equality and diversity in the workplace this week.
This is the seventh year in which the scheme has taken place, and initiatives and activities for the whole week have been announced through organiser NHS Employers.
Topics such as LGBT+, age, ethnicity, and disability are being covered, with many prominent speakers giving talks to raise awareness about workplace issues that directly affect employees.
NHS Employers will also be publishing a blog recapping the talks and activities held for those who are unable to attend.
A tweetchat will also be held tomorrow from 8-9pm for anyone to participate in discussing disability in the workplace with Jane Hutton of Evenbreak and Dan Robertson of Vercida Consulting.
Sheffield Health and Social Care tweeted:
We're proud to be an organisation that reflects the diverse cultures that make #Sheffield such a fantastic place to live.
