Police appeal for information on a Sheffield collision

21 February 2019

South Yorkshire police are appealing for information following a Sheffield collision.

A 26-year-old man was left with life-threatening injuries today after a single car collision.

At 12:10am this morning a silver Hyundai i30 is thought to have been travelling on Ecclesall Road towards Moore Street. The car then collided with the central reservation on St Mary’s Gate roundabout.

The man and two passengers were taken to hospital. Both passengers suffered minor injuries.

South Yorkshire Police are asking for information from anyone who saw what happened, or saw the vehicle before the collision. Any video footage would also be helpful.

They ask for anyone who could help to call 101 quoting incident number 6 of 21 February 2018.
