Fargate to become a “force to be reckoned with.”

The council has planned to speak to business owners over the summer about rejuvenating Fargate.

They hope to improve the High Street by improving public spaces, kiosks and seated areas, and add a new emphasis on entertainment and city centre living.

Daniela Tsvetkova, 21 said: “I think that would be good, as long as it’s a positive change. I understand if people were against it because it’s a big change and that the buildings around Fargate are pretty historic. As long as they don’t tamper with the buildings, I think it would be a great idea.”

We asked Sheffield residents for their opinions.
