Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has secured a nomination for the 2019 EFL awards, alongside his players Billy Sharp and Ollie Norwood.
Captain Billy Sharp has also been nominated for Sky Bet’s Championship player of the year.
He’s competing against Birmingham City’s Che Adams and Norwich City’s Teemu Pukki.
Pukki, 28, is the Championship’s leading goal scorer this season with a total of 24 goals. Sharp isn’t far behind him, with a total of 22 league goals, including two hat-tricks.
Fans of Sheffield United were thrilled with Sharp’s nomination, many describing him as the ‘Greatest of All Time’.
Is there anyone better in world football than Billy Sharp at knowing EXACTLY where the ball will drop?
I still think Pukki will win it but he defo deserves to be there. https://t.co/feBar4TjcD
