A day to promote and celebrate Polish culture is taking place in Sheffield next week.
Polish Heritage Day will see the city host free workshops and exhibitions to help the public get in touch with their Polish roots.
The activities range from a “who do you think you are?” heritage workshop, to Polish food stalls and craft classes.
A Polish Middle Ages reconstruction group will also be showcasing a performance of medieval Slavic lifestyle, with Polish music to add to the occasion.
The family-friendly day is a free event and will take place on Monday, 6th May at Graves Park, Hemsworth Road, Sheffield.
This is the third year in a row that Sheffield has hosted Polish Heritage Day.
Anna Kucewicz, event co-organiser, said: “Within the richness of Polish culture, there is something for everyone to enjoy and particularly understand the close links Poland has always had with the UK”.
