WATCH: The Rugby League World Cup hopes to leave long-lasting legacy in Sheffield.

The Rugby League World Cup 2021 starts in October and will be hosted in England with Sheffield hosting the men’s tournament and the wheelchair event.

It is going to be hosted at Bramall Lane and the English Institute of Sport.

Rugby League World Cup ambassador Jodie Cunningham said, “This is the opportunity for the sport to grow in Sheffield and leave a long-lasting legacy in the city”.

Cunningham, who has 21 caps for the Rugby League women England side said, “This has the opportunity to be one of the most inclusive tournaments ever, getting everybody in different cultures and societies involved”.
