Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United have both had players nominated for the February Sky Bet EFL awards.

Wednesday’s Barry Bannan was nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month while boss Darren Moore was nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award.

It comes after the Owls won five out of their six League One games in February to propel them up the table in their promotion pursuit.

United goalkeeper Wes Foderingham was nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award after conceding just two goals in February.
