Female-owned entertainment business, GP Princess Appearances, has been nominated for a UK business enterprise award.

GP Princess Appearances, based in Doncaster, has been serving quality character entertainment for parties and other events across Yorkshire for seven years.

The 29-year-old director of the company, Georgina Alice Pearman, has led the company from strength to strength since they began.

They have now been nominated for the prestigious UK business awards.

Georgina said: “I was shocked to see we had been nominated after such a tough couple of years.

“I started this all on my own and now we have a full team of performers. Our company is ever-changing and we are so proud of this achievement.”

During the pandemic, GP Princess Appearances could only offer very limited services as face-to-face contact was not permitted.

The business faced some financial difficulties and Georgina almost had to give up the office due to a lack of funding.

However, they are now in a better position than ever, booking parties every weekend.

They offer over 50 different themes and packages to suit every party’s needs.

Georgina said: “We have previously been nominated for the best party provider award three times at the mumbler awards and we have been lucky enough to win two times.”

They have submitted all business details and are now awaiting final details as to when the awards will take place.

Sophie Lomas, 23-year-old performer with the business said: “The job itself at GP princess appearances is amazing in itself but Georgina is just an outstanding boss.

She’s ambitious, professional but also a friend to everyone and this is reflected within the company’s service”

Sophie has worked with the company for almost four years, and she can’t wait to see what happens next.

They have glowing reviews on their facebook page, with one parent saying she would recommend the business to anyone looking for excellent service from start to finish.

Georgina said that she loves building a special relationship with the families she works with, and seeing the children grow year after year.

Looking into the future for GP princess appearances, she said: “I would like to expand our services and offer bigger and better corporate packages whilst securing bigger contracts.”
