‘Home Instead’ care company in Sheffield are holding three open days this month to tackle the shortage of care workers.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many care companies lost workers as a result of self-isolation and cuts in funding.

To combat this, Home Instead have today held their first of three open days, at their South office on Psalter Lane, Sheffield.

The open days are aimed at members of the public looking for full or part-time work in care.

Megan Stancill, 27, said she hopes the open days will encourage more people to join the care community.
