Hillsborough Arena hosted Sheffield’s first ever dog festival last weekend to raise money for Cavendish Cancer Care.
The Sheffield based charity aims to support local people living with cancer by offering complementary therapies to tackle the emotional side of treatment, as well as the physical side effects.
Dog lovers, owners, and local small businesses attended the event which featured activities for both humans and four-legged friends including doggy bingo, first aid talks, and dog bakery stalls.
The festival was organised by three final year events management students from Sheffield Hallam University.
They will be assessed on the preparation and running of the day as part of their final project.
