Sheffield’s Utilita Arena will play host to some of the world’s best darts players tonight. Jonny Clayton was the winner in week 13, continuing his impressive form.
The Professional Darts Corporation changed the format for this year’s tournament – instead of a round-robin event, the PDC has decided the players will compete in four quarter-finals every week, with the winners then going on to the semi-final and final.
The semi-finalists will get two points, runners-up three, and the finalist will receive five as well as a £10,000 bonus.
It will be the first time in two years that Sheffielders will be able to see live darts following the Covid-19 pandemic.
