Sheffield Handball Club have finally returned to weekly training after a three year hiatus.
With a new coach at the helm, the club has started running sessions again and is aiming to build the club back up to its previous popularity.
Head coach, Rickie Bailey, 34, is confident that the club can keep building.
He said: “Sheffield is a hotspot for sport. Most major cities have handball teams so I can’t see why Sheffield shouldn’t have one.
“One day I hope the club can reach the national level.”
The Club is putting sessions on Thursday nights for an hour, at Hillsborough College, which are open to players of all abilities. Junior sessions will also be running for all ages with a cost of £5 per session.
